Festooned Cables
Your crane's power bar electrification system is connected to your host via the Festoon system. They can also be used to electrify jib cranes and monorails. Additionally, we can use it to guard and direct gas, water, and air hoses as well as circular cables. Festoon systems are frequently utilized in material handling applications such as overhead cranes, jib cranes, port cranes, rubbish cranes, and others. Because of their extreme stability, these systems can be applied both indoors and outside in a variety of harsh environments, including hot weather. Cranes that are resistant to explosions can also be safely powered and operated by them.
The speed, weight, and range of motion of the festoon system set it apart from other electrical methods. Festoon systems usually come with a variety of clips or clamps, depending on the wires and hoses they organize. A straightforward festoon system is made up of a stationary clamp end, a manually or mechanically shifting control unit, and a number of trolleys or reels that support and secure the moving wires while the machine is operating. During operation, a festoon cable system makes sure that moving equipment gets power, compressed air, or hydraulic fluid. Conveyor and gantry crane equipment also need a cable support system since a pinched cable or air hose might cause the equipment to shut down.
